To Create a New Layer,
click New in the Layer Window. You'll see an "Untitled_1" layer
is created. This new layer is automatically set to be visible. To Rename a layer,
click on the layer name and it will become outlined and highlighted. Through
the Edit Layer Window, you can assign,
and un-assign objects to the selected layer. Highlighted names are part
of the chosen layer. Note:
A layer name
cannot be the same as any previously created object. The LayersManager
will add a numerical extension to items that have a name that is already
in use. You can also assign
objects to a layer through LayersManager.
Make sure the object to be added, and the layer it will be added to, are
both selected. Click Add. Likewise,
you can remove an object from a layer. Again, make sure the object is
selected, as well as the layer. Click remove. |
